Breakfast impressed me with enticing options, and the dining experience was friendly. my room felt dated and had a bit of road noise at night. A second inner window could have helped mute that inconvenience. good food and a delightful atmosphere, but the room could have had a fresher touch.

I had a delightful stay here with very welcoming staff who made me feel right at home, and the tasty breakfast options provided a great start to my day of exploring nearby attractions like the stunning Cotswolds AONB that’s just under 5 km away and the beautiful Church Of St Peter And St Paul that’s only about 5 km from the hotel. I highly recommend it for other solo travelers looking for a cozy spot to relax after a day of walking and sightseeing, but our room was a bit overheated and required a window to be opened for comfort.

The only downside was some road noise that was noticeable at times, but it didn't detract too much from an otherwise enjoyable experience.

A cozy, warm atmosphere welcomes you upon entry, with a delightful dining experience featuring a fruit buffet and a delectable cheesy vegetarian pie. The staff went above and beyond for a birthday celebration, even delivering a surprise dessert. Unfortunately, the valley location amplified colder temperatures, which may be uncomfortable for some during winter months, and parking can be a bit limited, especially during busy times.
